I got a call from Deloitte for a senior analyst role at and after clearing the main rounds I’ve been told that I’ll be working as an analyst role as I don’t have 3 years of experience (2 years 11 months to be exact) and this April I’ll be anyway completing 3 years. Should I raise this concern and talk to them about it??

I was tentatively hired for this WFH compliance role at Edward Jones, pending a background check. During the interview process, recruiter stated that the salary range would be 85-95k. So when it came to discussing salary, Recruiter offered 85k. I stated that I would like to request 90K. Recruiter told me that everyone gets 85k. I told her that I’m asking for mid range and that I’ll be putting in 45+ hours. Was I wrong and will they accept my request?

So I recently found out that my current company is underpaying me. And by that I mean that literally any other company is willing to pay me 15-20k more than what I make now. In my current role they've asked me to take on extra responsibilities with no financial compensation (scrum master type stuff) while still doing my engineering stuff. I don't necessarily mind it, but I'm starting to feel like I'm being taken advantage of. Is it reasonable for me to ask for a raise? Or do I go somewhere else?

I have received two offers for Summer Internships. West Monroe Partners Software Engineer and Deloitte Software Engineer. I'm not sure which one will be better for my career. How do you advocate for a "level" promotion in a company that has vague unofficial descriptions of levels? I'm doing L4-5 (on standard levels, or L3 within our system) work but can't get away from the unofficial "L2".

Making 140k with 7 yrs experience in this role, and 12 prior years experience in Systems Engineering roles. I know someone on my team is at 180k with a similar career.

Fighting with my manager atm on definitions of levels and feel like its a red herring.
