Received an offer from Deloitte as a consultant at $115k, $10k sign on bonus, 12% annual bonus. About 6.5 yrs out of college working full time as a consultant since. This is at best a flat move both in role and comp. recruiter said that pay, sign on, and target bonus are max and there is no room to negotiate up…Essentially take it or leave it. Does that sound accurate? Should I ask to come in at senior consultant?

Currently an engineer in MCOL area with 4 years experience (post graduating, not counting experience before/during college and large side gigs). I have a BS/MS/PhD in engineering and an MBA in business analytics. Currently making 100k as an engineer IV. Honest input request. Recent company role overhaul & total comp package revamp, cutting my 6 figures made last year down by 30k, and they added in support calls + prospecting + team lead. Pay day saw a 2.5k take home drop This month. This helped low performing staff increase their income, and pulled top performing folks like me into the red. Do I have any negotiation points here? Each year I’ve been here earned 23-50% more per year. Other than jumping ship, what are my options?

I want to switch role as an AWS developer. But I have just learnt the things on my own in AWS. In interview I am asked questions based on real scenarios on which I am not having any experience.

Any suggestions? Even if I do hands on on services like Linux academy or quiklabs, it would not help.
(AWS cloud migration experience one can get if worked on a real project). Please help.
