I am a manager in CFGI’s business transformation practice. Interested in knowing what other managers (and senior manager) comp bands and merit bonuses are in this inflationary economy. My understanding is that the big 4 stepped up their comp package to retain employees after the post-covid layoffs.

Every job is what you make it, I don't buy the sleepy industry job argument. You can advance and learn either place.
I would take the 140k for sure then. Might as well make more and keep your eyes open for the next gig.

Depends on the experience you will get. All things equal take the $$. But a sleepy industry job where you don't learn anything is not what you should be doing early in your career.
