Yeah, echoing others - nothing really works to stop it. Just know that it is totally normal and way more will fall out than you think is safe. It leveled off for me around 6-7 months PP
Yeah I kept thinking ok, I knew this would happen. I knew this would happen. Holy f*** this is too much to be losing!

Pretty sure my hair will never be the same. My baby is 2 years and I have significantly less hair than pre pregnancy...
😭
It’s normal to lose your hair at this time. My hairdresser said she has seen it in every postpartum client around 3-4 months. It’ll grow back itself in a few months, speaking from my own experience.

4 months pp with #2 and I feel you! It’s unfortunately totally normal. I was expecting it and so I pushed back my first pp haircut until it started ... and then that got canceled because of COVID 😭.
Embrace the ponytail and headbands, mama! And count down until the hairdressers reopen.
That is a natural effect because of the rebalancing of your hormones. I took prenatal vitamins to help, but for 9+ months, your hair didn’t fall out so it has a lot of making up to do. Wear headbands to hide it, if you can/need to do so. It will grow back and look normal again in 3-4 months. Best of luck!
Definitely can’t avoid - sucks. Would recommend organic black castor oil to help speed up growth in any particularly troublesome spots!
I just massaged a drop or two onto the spot for 2-3 minutes once a day. If you search castor oil / hair loss there are a lot of remedies out there depending on your hair type. I found that less is probably more!
