Deloiite moms need advice. I m due in September and I have 4 weeks pto expiring this year. Should I take my pto just after std and then start 16 week leaves? Or should I take pto before delivery and use 16 weeks just after std.

I think you can only take a max of 24 weeks at a time for family leave. Short term disability is 5 weeks typically or 6 weeks if you have a csection. With my first, I did std, PTO, then family leave. FYI you have to use a week of PTO before std kicks in so factor that into your calculation too. The leaves team is really helpful with this!

Second SC1 on STD timeline.

I took 4 weeks pto before my first n 2 before my second & it’s the best!!

A parent of one of my students told admin she thinks it's irresponsible that I won't be grading over Christmas break. I let the students know to get any work they need graded in before the break and I'll get it to it during our workdays in January. Apparently that's not fast enough for her 🙄. Is it wrong that I'm sort of pissed off by this? Should I say something?

Hello Fishes,
What are your leave plans?
(Year end is nearing, most of the accounts must have or will move to Code Freeze period and some of the leaves will expire by year end).

1. No leave plans at all.
2. Utilise some part of leave.
3. Utilise all leaves for Vacation.
4. Utilise all leaves for Upskill/Reskill.

Does anyone know of any good job options in FL for attorneys who are not licensed in FL? I’m wanting to move back to be closer to my family but I really do not want to take the bar again. I’m currently licensed in MO and doing products liability and trucking litigation through the Midwest. I’ve applied for some in house roles but I’ve only got three years of practice so I’m not sure I’m qualified. Is it possible to find something or will I need to suck it up and take the bar again?

Looking at exits into pharma and biotech. Have an opp at a biotech at the SM level. Total comp excluding equity is around $190k; RSUs vest over 4 years with annual refreshers, so first year equity would be around $6,200 and it would go up by $6,200 each of the next 3 years, plus whatever base bump I get. Very good benefits package.

They envision 2-3 years before I jump either to AD or right to D. Solid opp? Or hold out to go straight to director level?

What kind of Masters program would you recommend for someone hoping to make it into a senior leadership/executive role in Comms/PR? I have over 6 yrs of experience in Comms in public/private sector. However, I haven't had any formal education in Comms/Journalism which I have felt always put me at a disadvantage. My question is, is there an advantage of doing a Masters to improve my chances of getting into a leadership role? If so, would an MBA be better than a Masters in PR/Comms?
