The best decision I made towards my FIRE goal was to move from Europe to the US. I did so at 31 with a NW of $300k. Four years later, my NW is $1.2M as I kept costs low while earning significantly more. My concern now is how to keep a good balance as I know that costs will greatly increase (house, kids..) in the next few years.
