I know someone talked about it earlier but I’m going to be a mid year promoted S1 making almost 96k a year. Then comes May I’ll be promoted to S2 making I would assume 105k. All the roles I have been offered in industry are offering only a max of 110k that I’ve seen. I only have 2 YOE starting in January. Am I being money hungry or should I expect more? I know people always said when you leave public as a senior to look for a jump of 20-30% in salary. I am in a HCOL btw PwC EY KPMG Deloitte

I have 10+yoe on tech consulting ( sap implementations as functional architect) + Computer science engineering background.
In my role, I sit with business to understand the needs of customers/business and translate it into functional specs which will be then programmed by developers.

Pwc cyber is all about compliance - even it's consulting practice is basically a compliance checklist.
Most people use pwc for pre audit or audit work ..not many people consider then for tech work.
100% correct, there are no true technology projects at PwC. Accenture and Deloitte is where it’s at.

I'd say to Accenture or Deloitte.
Or you could aim for a boutique firm like slalom, dito, gft, scalesec
Don’t know about Deloitte but we are having so much work flooding in!

I chose a place with better pay....hated every second I was there.
More money sounds great until you hate every second of your work day.
I would gladly leave 5-10% on the table to avoid a place that I hate
