You can either use the green, gold or platinum cards. You need to pay the yearly fee associated with it. Check dnet for more info.
Yes. Those are the only corporate cards AMEX offers to Deloitte. The reason why you don't see anyone with the gold card is because the spending bonus doesn't offset the hike in yearly fee. PPDs and SMs typically get the platinum card. I've heard that the firm pays for the yearly membership, but I've never had it confirmed. I think there is a clause on Dnet for the corporate cards that if a PPD chooses to forgo one of the lounge memberships the firm pays for the platinum membership since it comes with centurion lounge access. If you're talking about using your own personal cards for corporate expenses that can result in termination.
As far as I know you can only get the green one as Corp and if you want to collect pts, pay the $95
You get paid for platinum card if your are sm and above and "travel frequently". I forget that the detention of that is, probably around 75% or more. Then they reimburse you either a platinum fee or a lounge membership.
^ correct. SM and PPD get platinum and get fee paid for if a frequent traveler. Below SM they will reject the fee and may not approve the request at all. You have to email the platinum card address to request it. Fee is $375.
Yeah, I think it has to do with the kind of day the people at expense compliance are having.
D2, that's what I do now. D1, are you sure?
Thanks for the details green dot!
Using personal card for business expenses can result in termination? 😵
Doubtful. More likely, it will result in your expenses not being reimbursed. Also, likely a review of all your expenses for improprieties. Possibly a sternly worded email to you. And a not to a lead partner in your group.
I know a C who used his personal SPG Amex at hotels. Didn't get flagged.
