Why Aren’t More Women Taking the Lead in Project Management?
Women make up around a third of the project management population — a figure that hasn’t changed a great deal over the last few years — and they also continue to be largely absent from leadership roles in major projects.

Oh, very interesting. If I am up for promotion, by how much would you recommend that I surpass my utilization? My target is 90% and I'd be going up for SC. It was 104% last year and barely impacted my rating so I figured that I wouldn't kill myself this year. Really appreciate you explaining the unspoken perception of this
Interesting- thanks! Ok, so maybe my 104% utilization wasn't as impressive as I thought. Out of curiosity, what is the highest YE utilization number that you have heard of? I have a co-worker who has been around 150%, but I don't know what her YE number was. She is super overworked.
Someone's worried
They look at Performance Year
69
Wrong
Last I checked, I was something like 11 hours over my target for this time of year
CY? FY? PY?
Calendar? Fiscal? Performance?
97% SM
Slightly over 100 is usually good at the C/SC level. But don't go much above - you need to demonstrate time spent on impact initiatives
Yeah, if your ratings are suffering and u have 150, it will not go too far. Ideally have around 100 percent with strong ratings.
D2 as disclosed above, YEAR to DATE. Have 1260 billable, can see at ToD
BA, yeah worried.
Which year?
First year senior
Fiscal
Why fiscal?
Cause they look at fiscal year to date utilization when discussing our performance.
2 periods of last year and Year to march end
It's actually 3 periods starting P11. P11 to P10.
