LTI and Mindtree merger planned on 6 May as per media report . The brand name Mindtree will be dissolved. Seems appraisal discussions and hike is pending due to this event.
Don't expect good hike and people who can sense the future work culture , will start looking for the change now

I am a Principal Solutions Architect with 13 YOE of which 5 years exp is with Biotech focusing on Public Cloud (AWS) & overall AWS exp. 9 years. I need suggestions /opinions if applying for a Senior Solutions Architect (Level6) at AWS makes sense or if I should aim for a Principal SA (level 7) role at AWS with Healthcare & Lifesciences industry experience. If it makes any difference, I worked for AWS ProServe as an external SA in the past. Any insights / feedback appreciated.

As a local on a GPS state project - around 40-45ish hours about 80% of the year, 50-60ish hours 15% of the year and 2 or 3 weeks a year at 70-90 hours. The last bit are usually due to me signing up for some PRD right as a curveball comes my way. However, I expect my project would take a lot more out of me if I was a traveler. Since I’m local I have a much more stable social life
