Need referral for American express and Barclays
Hello, is there anyone willing to refer me at KPMG Canada for IT Support Analyst position? I will be graduating end of next month and I strongly feel my skills and experience are a great match for the role. I’m being ghosted by the recruiter for this role for almost 3 weeks now. I’d really appreciate your support. Thank you very much! KPMG

Yes a couple of people I know have done it. It does come with a proportionate pay decrease though.
Practically speaking, I do see those individuals struggle to maintain boundaries. One person who took an 80% schedule still ended up working 45-50 hour weeks, which was sad (50 was an improvement over their typical 70-80 hours but it sucked to get only 80% of pay for it). I have seen others be good at maintaining boundaries.
I recently listened to this book on audio and the author brings up some interesting points on the merits of staying full time/ full pay and setting boundaries vs part time/ pay cut and the struggle to really be off work. Worth a listen if you have time! https://www.amazon.com/Know-How-She-Does-Successful/dp/0143109723/ref=nodl_
I am 80% and have been for a year post-baby 2. I have learned a lot in the process, but I am fortunate to have a boss that wants me to stay. I fell into the trap of working full time and I have learned that boundary setting is key. I also needed to change my role. I have off on Fridays and don’t have routine childcare on those days. It means that I have to be off or make special arrangements. It also means that if someone calls me on Friday, they are going to hear “Mommy?! Mommy?! Mommy?!” in the background of it’s not a prearranged meeting! Feel free to chat me if you want to discuss more over email/phone. It’s possible and comes with trade-offs, but my kids are only young once.
