Does Barclays negotiate after accepting their offer, I still have 7 days to join Barclays and I have counter offer on top of Barclays offer.
They have given me extended joining date without ask or need and in return I asked for joining bonus so HR said Barclays don't give joining bonus. I have a serious question regarding this because time is running out. I quit my job last year on Nov 5. I had about two weeks of PTO accrued and I wasn’t paid out my PTO. I got selected in KPMG and getting a good 70% hike but i think i lowballed myself when the HR once again asked yesterday if i'm okay with the package. I immediately said i'm okay as they already accepted my initial quote and pushing them for more would be a greedy move.

but the thought that i could have gone for a higher package if i wasnt overwhelmed by their "we care for you" gesture is making me anxious.

This is my 1st shot at Big 4, so i am already excited & nervous.
