I am a biology graduate. I worked in cancer research and development for more than two years. Recently moved to Canada, and now I'm wanting to transition into clinical research.
Most jobs I find online ask for atleast 2 years clinical experience.
Does anyone have any tips on how to procure this experience? Should I invest in a course? Or should I volunteer at a CRO?
I recently got offered a clinical admin position, would this count as clinical exp?

My manager just offered me “coaching advice” and called me “aggressive”. He was referring to feedback I gave on a call w new management, who are considering shifting our jobs to a new role but not increasing our pay. The new role is the same as a role 2 levels higher. 5 folks on my team slacked me to thank me for saying what I said. I’m shocked it took until 33 to get this feedback. I messed up and gave a target salary instead of range to a recruiter. She mentioned that she wanted the info to take back to hiring managers. I've already been through two round of interviews and my last one is just a mock client presentation otherwise I would try and say "after learning more about the role my range has changed". I went through a few interviews with the Deloitte Cybersecurity for a manager role. I've been in more senior roles at competing firms. Initially I said no thanks, but after the 4th call they made an initial offer at the top pay of the manager salary range and sent me a link to the application form. It's a 20% pay bump for me. So the question is should I take a demotion for 20% pay bump? Or counter with a lateral move? Is it even possible to negotiate a higher level after interviews are done?
