Moving to DC, Wife and I will be working in DuPont circle and our daughter will go to school nearby. Coming from Europe & a bit intimidated by the rental prices on Zillow. Received an offer for a data strategy manager role in PE with base at $135K, 20% target bonus, RRSP match at 100%. Base is same as my current role but the bonus and RRSP match are significantly higher which will make my total comp at 175K. Thoughts on the offer? I have 7 YOE in consulting.

Just wanted to put it out there that no one is perfect. I'm going on 13 years with my significant other. I'm 25 years old. While our story isn't the typical one, we've had two breaks in between. At times I'm jealous of copywriters. At every shop I've been to, ADs are asked to do more jobs like animating & video editing on top of the usual concepting, design, comps, decks, presenting, & idea writeups while it seems the skills stay the same for CWs. It feels worse knowing there are good pro animators/editors/photographers looking for jobs. I'm sure there are CWs being asked to do additional jobs, I don't want to discount their struggles. Just needed to vent.
