PTO is also for sick days.

I think you have to enter pto for sick leave and enter reason in commenta
Are you USI or federal? There might be a code in the absent section (where PTO is). I don't think commercial gets sick leave

OP, not sure who approves your time (counselors approve GAA, CED etc in Federal) but I require my counselees to put what the GAA time etc was for when they bill it. So if you put in 8 hours of GAA and didn't indicate for what, Id come ask you. Sure you can put GAA or CED or something when you're not billing your client and are technically out sick but that's fraud, like someone else pointed out.
The fact that it is technically fraud OP and could result in termination if you get busted. Sick time is PTO
Commercial. Seriously, sick leave is PTO? What's stopping me from marking GAA?
We get 5 weeks of PTO, and you want to mark your sick day as GAA? Remember this in December when you're trying to use up last year's rollover PTO 🙄
I've never been sick enough to use PTO. Usually work remote. Once I had food poisoning but I was at like 50+ hours for the week so only had an hour posted for that day.
