If i am on h1B and if i do visa transfer, can I take a break between jobs (week or two) and be in the US or I need to start right away?

How long it takes to get Canadian visa for intra company transfer to Canada.

Hello, I just received an offer with Chase for the Relationship Banker position with the pay rate of 50k yr + commission. Do you think it is a fair pay rate or I can negotiate for more? Also, they just mentioned to me at pre offer step that if I quit or change within the first year or two, I will have to pay for the lincenses' fee. Does anyone know how much would it be for the fee? And also am I still able to keep the licenses if I leave?

i gotta an offer from AMEX for band 30 for the role of Infrastructure Engineer and I've a 3 years of experience. They've given me 13 LPA as base salary and 90,000 for variable as yearly bonus and 1 LPA for PF & Gratuity. So, total 14.9 LPA.

Currently based in the US with limited language skills. Only got tapped for this because one of the major investors is a close friend and his family is one of the wealthiest in the country.

Crazy for considering this? What should I even been asking for in terms of comp and carry?

I was doing the hiring interview for an experienced hire last week, in our technology consulting practice. I discussed the career level, specialty group, type of work, etc. The candidate then said that they would only accept the offer if it allowed them to work from home, indefinitely. Have others encountered such a request? BTW, no offer was extended. I couldn’t commit to “indefinite WFH”, when clients often require us on-site and with out-of-town travel.
