Deloitte US just announced layoffs. Any other B4 started layoffs too ?

Hi, received an offer from another Big4 in Amsterdam (currently working in Eastern Europe), but relocating, I’m concerned about potential layoffs in the coming period being the last to join the team.

What should an S2 in a HCOL area expect to make in FDD (big 4)?

An observation: It’s very funny how junior (especially first year) associates working in transactional law can spend an entire deal screwing up signature pages, checklists, and redlines.... and then complain that it’s BS they’re “doing administrative tasks instead of legal work.”

We do write up work and book keeping throughout the year and come tax season strictly focus on individual tax, and the various different entities we work with.
