How many first year analysts here started as interns? What did you guys do to get those jobs?
Not crashing anymore.
Fishes who are/ were staffed on engagements in PMO role: What do you do when you are supposed to be a Project Manager but there is no "project"? I just started on new engagement. There may or may not be a "project" eventually, but there isn't one yet. All my client wants now is my help with managing day-to-day activities and tasks and has no interest in "brainstorming" on what this hypothetical project might entail. Meanwhile, my Eng Partner is demanding to see a detailed project plan.
Looking into MBA programs in Europe. However, I am seeing quite a difference in ranking. What would be seen as Top 15 programs? Which ranking do organisations follow most? Looking at both full time and executive. TIA!
Anyone with a corporate AMEX thinking about deactivating the membership rewards until travel resumes? Is that even possible?
How do you earn trust of a coworker, 6 months on the project still feel like I am not being respected for my opinions even when valid. To be fair, the coworkers I have been with have been together for over 2 years, so they are cliquey.
anyone ever just have one round of interviews before getting an offer? (excluding HR calls)
Hey, what kind of work does the real estate valuation group do at Baker Tilly? What kind of clients do they have? Do they do full 100 page appraisal reports or something leaner? Thinking of making a move. Whom should I contact?
Anyone ever hear of Global Atlantic financial group? Was reached out by a recruiter for a product analyst role.
I just received a verbal offer from Cognizant’s ATG division for a Salesforce Consultant position. However, I only have the Case Interview and the MD round left for a Sales Performance Management Consultant position at Deloitte. If you were in my shoes, what would you do?
Current analyst (1.5 YOE) here with a strong interest in DevOps and Project Management. I feel like I am slowly but surely getting pigeon-holed in L&D work. I don’t like it, but my leaders continue to tell me that all experience is good experience. Should I try to breakout and find a variety of experience this early in my career or should I try to make it to 3 years and re-evaluate then? Have you had a similar experience? What have you done?
Woke up at 4am after sleeping 1 hour and immediately went to the kitchen for a heaping spoonful of Nutella. Like I mean immediately - autopilot, and I mean heaping. I’ve never done that before Is this.. ok? Alarming? Objectively positive? Legal? A new trend? Offensive?
How early is too early to start looking for another job? Would you consider it a red flag for hiring if it’s been <1 year?
