Play office politics... how?

Any recommendations for good business writing course? Feel like I need a solid refresher before my next project starts

For someone looking to transition from B4 advisory to MBB is two YOE the ideal time period to try and make the jump?

Project is highly understaffed with just some junior resources added in quantity given availability challenges, to help.. Told the partner on the project but no avail. Feeling highly frustrated and can't thinking of burning every single night to deliver #facepalm

Gotta love the partner saying yes to the client for out of scope work then going over the budget and asking us what happened - a tale as old as time

Did final round at McKinsey on last to last Monday. Been 11-12 days. Should follow up with HR today(Friday) or on Monday?

“Shall we hop on a quick call?” No! Leave me alone!!!

Asking for a friend (who is me), do any recruiters who hand out large 6 figure offers ever get jealous or frustrated? Any stories to share?

How often is too often to move jobs / be labeled a job hopper? 5.5 YOE currently, spent 2.5 years each at 2 consulting firms and recently moved to a startup that I’m not sure is working out. Is it going to look bad to move after a year here? Will I need to stay at the next job for several years to not be labeled?

What is a career in cloud like? How would I transition from a data background?

Question for younger consultants with a dog. I’m a recent grad and have been debating getting a dog for some time now. I have researched costs so I’m well aware of the financial responsibility. I’m more so concerned with the things that people tend to overlook. My project work has me around 50-55hrs a week. I maintain a good wlb I cook, workout, meet friends, go out to town. What are some things that turned out to be a pain in the ass when getting a new dog/puppy that you didn’t foresee?
