I’m stressed lately and like 90% sure I’m having night terrors, does anyone have experience with this? Toddlers get them but it’s less common in adults. I wake up feeling disoriented and in danger and race to another room! I’ve trouble recognizing my surroundings & I’m stuck in a dream. Apparently they happen at the start of a sleep cycle; the adrenaline feels like a heart attack! How do I relax and decompress?? Now I’m terrified of going to sleep. Help!

Friends, I was offer an opportunity to move to a warmer state to work at an agency I like. My kid who is 13 is (understandably ) hating me. How can I deal with this in a supportive and compassionate way. I’ve been in a pretty dark place for the past week or so. The structure of my day-to-day helps me to compartmentalize and prioritize my tasks over dwelling on my thoughts, but it’s still really hard to give a shit about anything that I’m doing. Anyone have any tips in navigating this?
