Recent grad in MM FDD. I talk to the sr associate i'm supposed to be shadowing a couple times a week but he hasn't had that much work for me the past 3 weeks. He has another sr associate shadowing him. I've just been sitting around playing video games and checking my email/messages every 30 minutes. Is this normal for new hires?

Hey guys. Just finished my 4th audit busy season at Deloitte (so going from Senior 2 to Senior 3). Expecting new base to be 90K effective May. Considering applying for FDD senior role at PwC. What should I be putting in as expected compensation in their form? Don't want to undersell myself but also don't want to shoot so high that the electronic form itself rejects me. Thanks all!

What is the difference between financial due diligence (FDD) and delivering deal value (DDV) at PwC?

With 18 months of FDD as a senior 3 I’m starting to look at a jump to IB (yes I know its not a good time with the markets - just starting conversations). I can’t seem to find any true HHs or recruiting firms. For those who made the jump did you use any search firms or just start reaching out to folks at specific banks to start conversations? My bank (boutique - ~20 people) is looking to hire an experienced analyst (1-2+ years of FDD, Valuation, Equity Research, or IB experience). Must be in NYC. Pay is exactly what you’d see as market on the Surveys on insta & hours prob around 80.
