Many of us are aging more slowly and most of us can benefit from what we're all learning.

I read a book by a pair of Nobel prize winners for their work on telomeres which are big determinants of how we age. Their big takeaways were good nutrition, don't smoke, light on alcohol, exercise, manage stress and sleep well. No secret sauce there. Deep in our cells research and a Nobel to tell me what Slim Goodbody was espousing decades ago.

I'm doing well but won't compare myself to a super small percent of athletes that are the tail of the distribution.

Ya. We the regular folks are better able to push back the clock as we have not ground down our bodies for decades like athletes. As D1 stated, what to do is simple. Tough thing is, sticking to it for life. Even tougher problem is cognitive health we will face as our body last forever…

A piece of the cognitive question goes hand in hand with the same advice ..nutrition sleep excercise etc.

Try Relief Factor for pain relief

does it really work?

I have a boss from hell. She’s the GM of my hotel and she is a mean girl that never grew out of highschool. She loves gossip. She will trash talk her employees with other employees and once her toxic garbage starts to leak amongst us peons she will send a group text telling us all to stop spreading rumors and to stop being bullies like she isn’t the mean kid with a magnifying glass torturing ants for no reason. I want to stand up but I’ve seen her retaliate on people who have tried to. Help.

Hi all - looking for stats and help on what a St Consultant level III gets paid here in London? I’m transferring from a US office.

My company was just acquired by a private equity firm. We’ve been around for 25+ years and have been a public company. They say “business as usual” for now, and I feel like the product I work in is pretty safe. I also received direct, positive feedback from the company’s COO surrounding my leadership. I recognize there can be positives and negatives to this type of acquisition, but I’m curious if anyone has any tips, feedback, personal experiences, etc. they can share?

I want to brag on my kid, but I don’t want to embarrass him, so I’m doing it here. My college sophomore found out today that he ended up with a B in his accounting class - which is remarkable, given that he received a 50 on his first exam and a 70 on his second. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen him work this hard - and I couldn’t be more proud. The grades that come easily don’t impress me nearly as much as the ones that are hard fought.
