Developers, what motivates you the most to contribute to an open source project ?

What are some of your favorite closing dinner spots in the city? Could be a private room or out in the main dining room. 8-14 people. Looking for a range of fancy and less fancy spots to suit different client tastes.

I’m an entry-level Asso on my team, but we also have 2 associates from India’s support side working with us. The SA, M, D, P all go to client meetings, but leave me and the other two ppl out of it

I am beyond stuck in my first 1.5 years of my career.

I was over promised opportunities at my first gig and then Covid hit. Leading me to have no portfolio worthy pieces from this 💩 agency with nothing great in sight. (place hasn’t won a pitch in my entire time here + lost clients)

Transitioned from my first job (in-house at large tech company) to a boutique firm where "quality" is king. Problem is, every partner/client has their own idea of what "quality" is.

Feeling like I'm starting over brand new, and the stress is really getting to me. Everyone at my old job told me I was at the top quality-wise, but the partners at the firm all tell me it's going to be 2 years before I'm really confident/comfortable. I'm a 6th year. Does Deloitte provide customized experience letters for the green card process? I was told that they don’t.

Any advice to terminate a buyers agreement with an agent? I’m a first time homebuyer and made a mistake of signing one (lesson learned). The agent is currently refusing to sign a release to terminate the contract and the broker won’t return my calls. I was upset with the service being provided by the agent and felt like he was not acting in my best interest.

2. How are they different from consulting? For example, how does the scope of a manager/SM differ?

I passed the hiring committee review for a position at Google and the next step is the matching process (it was a general role, but industry hire). But the Recruiter has basically ghosted me for a month now. This whole process has taken SO long.
