I’m a young mid-level associate at a big firm and I brought in my first client recently. I discovered that one of the partners in a different office is trying to open a client file with a different entity of the same client through a different contact with the client. My relationship with the client is through the CEO, so I’m not so much worried about losing my relationship with my client I’m more wondering (1) is this common in big firms and (2) how do I handle this within my firm?
Planning of travelling internationally in Feb. My baby will be 3.5 months by then. Worried about breastfeeding on a 14 hour flight. I have inverted nipples and my little one has a hard time latching on the left nipple. I follow the triple feeding schedule and if I miss a pumping session or a feed my breasta are engorged and the left one creates a mess. I am assuming pumping on the plane will not be an option? Might consider the Halka or the ladybug and feeding LO. Any suggestions?
I have 5 years of agency production experience and line production experience. I’ve produced broadcast, social content, branded films and docs, photography and more. How can I move into film/tv?
I’m entertaining conversations to transition out of my current organization. I work in the non-profit industry and my boss is well-connected to other orgs. In the past, when staff left he projected resentful behavior towards the person, and even misrepresented the staff person in conversations with partners. How do I effectively transition, preserve my relationships, and protect my name?

Are we just forcing ourselves to conform to societal/personal expectations for a job that isn’t who we are?

Anyone has any experience with online providers to diagnose ADHD? I looked for a doctor a while ago through my insurance and kind of gave up as most were not accepting patients.
I'm struggling at work and in the process of adjusting my meds, while simultaneously trying to fix some bad habits that I think came from burnout. I thought having a manager who has ADHD would be helpful. On the contrary, they don't seem to have a lot of empathy or patience for me. I think, in part, because they have theirs under control and are a high performer. Maybe they forgot what poorly controlled symptoms/adjustments feel like? Anyone else have similar experiences?

This means I don't use any one to do list, have different ways of taking notes, change my sleep/wake hours due to poor planning, exercise etc.
This is happening even though I use stimulants, schedule outlook reminders etc..
Other continued struggles include:
- hyper focus and taking longer to deliver things because I obsess over small details
- organizing information

I wanted PM responsibilities to establish that I can take it and I'm doing well with great feedback. Now, honestly, I hate PMing because it hurts my ADHD brain to stay on top of everything as it is, but I asked for the responsibilities. Afraid to ask for more project work and less PM
