Did anyone else see this article by BCG Search called “Why Going In-house Is Often the Worst Decision a Good Attorney Can Ever Make”? Any thoughts on it?

BCG is a joke. It’s the Breitbart of legal search platforms.

Harrison Barnes also has a quite interesting idea of what law firms are like. I wouldn’t place much weight in anything he writes.

Just wow. No you should not go to Dunder Mifflin, but there are plenty of in house jobs that aren't a huge mistake.

A guy whose business is based on leeching money from attorney lateral moves thinks you should keep jumping firms and not go in house? This is my shocked face.

I married my girlfriend from college after being together for an extended time. We love each other, and I feel like we are each other’s best friend. But now I can’t help but feel guilty for regretting that the “passion” is gone from our relationship. I’ve always prioritized stability and now I can’t help but wonder what it would have been like to sow more wild oats. My sense is that this is not uncommon but I am not sure how to feel/what to do about it.

Did you ever had this feeling of not fitting in? People (including non-legal staff) in my team just ignore me. I know I made some mistakes, but resenting a trainee for that reason seems unfair. Just went to farewell drinks of an associate and only two persons out of 14 actively engaged conversation with me. With the rest I had this feeling of forcing everything and of being the awkward one. People were referring to funny stories on cases we’re working on and that I never heard about.
