Tips for a physician (3 years experience so haven’t finished residency) trying to get into management consulting? What are some strengths and weaknesses of consultants who used to work as a medical doctor?
Big law senior associate in Florida here seeking advice or perhaps representation from someone in the health benefits and/or disability insurance field. I was diagnosed with a disabling disease over a yr ago and have been working under intermittent medical leave with reduced hrs. I’ve exhausted firm’s 100% paid medical leave (now at 60%) and have only 40 FMLA hours left. HR referred me to Prudential to file claim for long-term disability. Need advice regarding filing claim and (cont’d)...

As someone who grew up with parents who provided for us on $35k a year, I’m so sick of people who post things like “I’m 23 with $200k in savings and a $150k job - is that good?? 🥺🥺” y’all are annoying
So many new recruits here coming from Capgemini with 3+ years experience but they are terribly ill equipped. What's happening over there???
If anyone is interested in the work happening here, DM me.
Just beginning to accept I most probably won’t make it to my top choice company for life sciences consulting after networking with their senior consultants and directors (they really liked me and were very enthusiastic) and recruiters since almost a year now. They told me the position is still in ‘pipeline’ and I should take other opportunities that arise. I can’t wait for this because my current boss wants me to tell her whether ill join full time by end of May. I worked so hard for this. Ugh.
Man, this SquadFuel Digital Quest is making me cringe so hard I might have to apply for disability.
What’s the salary range for a Dir (or Assoc Dir) of Engineering / Product Dev / Hardware Dev / Imaging Systems in the biotech, medical device space? What about a Mgr / Sr Mgr in those same fields? I’m sourcing for people who currently have this type of role and not sure what’s competitive.
Planning to have a child in the next year or so, have no idea how health insurance works. Can any EY-ers share there experience with the firm coverage and if there’s anything I should be considering? Tried to read the Medical Plan but it’s going over my head and I can’t find anything about maternity. Thanks in advance!
Has anyone taken a job with great medical benefits but no dental or vision coverage? Did you find coverage on your own?
I am currently a medical biller and coder that just graduated. I am currently in an entry level position because I am still studying to get certified. I will have a year's work of exp in July and will sign a contract for another year because my boss is training me in more I don't know.
I'm wondering what the pay is for someone in my position without certification. I live with family and want to afford to move out but I am single and only make $18/hr. Is that standard or am I being underpaid?
Looking to upgrade my work wardrobe, where are your go to stores that strike the young, stylish but still professional balance?
I'm sick of J Crew and Ann Taylor.
I have a medical reason for not driving, I provided a doctor's note stating that I can only drive within a limited range. Current project is outside that range as a compromise I can carpool with +
Is anyone else getting sick of the crop top/waist out trend? I can’t seem to find items without it. Workout tank? Crop top. Dress? Crop top with a skirt or a huge cutout at the waist. Pajamas? Crop top. Even sweatshirts are now crop tops - I know it’s for looks but as someone who’s always cold I need the whole thing please! I don’t think they’re morally wrong or anything and if you love them more power to you it’s just never been my style. Can I please just have the whole shirt 😭
Anyone with insight on Weber Shandwick NYC? Curious what the culture is like/how folks feel there?
What’s the average base salary and bonus for a senior manager and partner / level 4? I’m wondering why most don’t stay that long

Do you work on the weekends by choice? I feel I have to for at least a couple of hours, to keep the flow going, if that makes sense. If I take time off, i get unmotivated to pick back up on Monday
