Curious to hear how the progress on your application has been, specifically the time duration, i.e., when did you receive the AOR letter and how long after that did you receive the invite for the test and then oath ceremony? Any applicants still waiting? I understand that processing times are longer than usual due to Covid and might vary on a case to case basis, but just want to get a sense of the average processing time.

my family had a trip to Europe planned for this month. Our first overseas trip since 2019. We also had a trip to a local seaside town a few hours away with a friend and his daughter planned for July. We’ve been to this same town the last 2 covid summers. Well we got covid and had to cancel the Europe trip, so we canceled the local trip because it’s the only other time we could reschedule Europe before 2023. The friend is mad at us even though he has 2+ months to plan something else. AITA?

So just this week my friend from high school, my uncle, and my best friends parents all got Covid. They live in different places all over the country, urban and rural. Before this week I only heard of people who I was not close to getting it. Assuming it’s creeping closer to everyone now. 😕

Told my partner that I am experiencing severe covid symptoms and that am running around trying to get a test (very difficult where I am located right now). His response was to call him later today when I am *finally* at my desk to discuss a matter which requires work over the weekend. Is this normal?
