I’m working on it right now. I’m here on an E1 visa, but the process is the same for H1B: you need to file a ton of paperwork with the USCIS and while it’s being processed, you can’t leave the country. It used to take 3 months, but now during the pandemic it’s unclear how long it’s gonna take—our lawyer told us it could be 6-12 months. I recommend hiring a lawyer for this, mine cost me 2k and he’s taking care of all the bureaucracy.
I got offer from Visa Consulting and Analytics with CTC around 34LPA. But I will be working from client location. So how will my work life balance be affected? I am in a big dilemma because of this.
