Did anyone really hit their stride once they became a CD and had more control over the work?

The sooner you realize it isn’t about “Control”.... the sooner you’ll begin to enjoy the work more and the team you work with. That’s when you start hitting your stride and the work gets better and better. I don’t control the work, I help craft it.

It has less to do with the work and more with learning how to manage yourself. Also coming in early to get work done is an incredibly positive shift in mentality and productivity. Things/work start to feel less hopeless because you are managing yourself better. But the work is always created and judged subjectively. There’s no way to “control” it. Just ways to use your experience to push and pull it in a direction you think is right at that moment in time.

Is it fraud or somehow bad to just start and quit a 2nd job every 1-2 months once you actually start to have to do real work? The first few weeks of most jobs tend to be pretty low stress and an easy paycheck or 2. And if you only do this at employers you wouldn't return to, is there a downside?

Hey fellow fish. I’m wanting some reference to an eclectic editing style that incorporates a bunch of filmic styles into the narrative. Not in a Womb Stories way, but more in an Uncommon B&Q Build a Life way. The reference I’m thinking of cuts away to vintage black and white footage and even old cartoons. I just can’t for the life of me remember what it was for. Any suggestions would be massively appreciated!

The thing is that work has been leaving me with no energy and I only have time to do the bare minimum for my bootcamp, I am thinking of quitting my FT job to focus on school and go the extra mile to learn and network more, if I go this route, I can finish my bootcamp within 3 months and focus on finding a job, need some solid advices here. Thanks!
