Exit Interviews
I saw some advice to not bother w/ the exit interview b/c it does you no good. The only good I was expecting was to stroke my bruised ego I guess in ripping my team and management a new one in the feedback.
Your thoughts on exit interviews and whether you do them?
Facebook (Meta) Amazon Apple Netflix Google Microsoft
Has anyone met anyone from this bowl?
No. Its called networking.
@Associate: I’d ask your former place for a copy / copies of any paperwork you signed. And then speak to a lawyer.
So the person's current job is at risk of being cut anyway, you have no hiring authority for this decision, and all you did was share a job post with someone?
I don't think you should be worried about this.
Recently, they’ve learned that there are likely staffing cuts to the client they works on so I told them to apply where I work now because my boss was lamenting how much she is struggling to hire people with talent & experience. So I sent them the job link.
Well, my boss is interviewing them tomorrow. I’m sure they’ll get an offer because they are amazing. I have no role in the decision making process and while we’d have the same boss, our roles won’t work together. Have I put myself or anyone else at risk?
How are they gonna prove anything?
I’m not OP.
Pretty sure a good lawyer would look into the same question I asked.
So yeah, if you actually know, I’d love to find out how. From OP’s post it seems like it would be based on hearsay.
Only if you display their tusks / antlers in your office otherwise think you’re good
