I want to send a handwritten note + donation to an organization that I volunteered with. I think the best way to do this would be a check but I don’t have a checkbook and I don’t want to order one just for this… any suggestions? Can I just put cash in the mail? I felt reckless today. A senior with a reputation for arbitrary and tight deadlines gave me a “fire drill” assignment. Upon hearing the deadline, I asked “why?” and just kept pressing and pressing until they admitted that it wasn’t a fire drill. Good for my career? No. Satisfying? Yes.

Can’t believe I wasted a semester studying the Efficient Market Hypothesis.

I am traveling to a Latin America country for a week and realized my cell phone provider does not have an option for international service there 🤦‍♀️ Obviously I could use wi-fi calling options but I’d like to be able to use my phone anytime for calls or texts at a minimum in case of emergency. Does anyone know the best option for this? How could I get a “local” sim for this country? Is any option going to be too much hassle or expense? Help!

This is eye opening for me since I’m not originally from the US and back in my country the car price is usually tripled so for my family we consider a $50k car an average car. I need advice 😭 I left PA about 2 months ago for a position in healthcare mainly becuase it was a great salary increase and I thought it’d be a great opportunity for me. I have found that I truly enjoyed being the asset in PA and I miss it. I am torn between going back or staying at this new gig for awhile.
