I have to go to a client site for the first time and dress was described as “business casual - slacks and button down”. Does slacks exclude chinos? If so where can I get good slacks?

Started interview process and got selected.
New HR called and stated that their budget is not matching to my expctn And asked me to wait for few days. I waited holding on to another offer and these HRs stopped answering my calls and ignored.

Sharing my experience with Deloitte USI interview and offer negotiation. I gave Deloitte interview 2 months ago. After managerial round I did multiple follow ups and Deloitte didn’t bother to reply. I moved on and got another offer. After 1 month Deloitte came back and asked for documents and didn’t show up for another 1 month. Today HR called and asked my expectations.
