How many is too many lacroix?
How many hours have you worked this year?
Anyone else feel a little uneasy that the industry press is praising a CMO who fired the agency who resurrected KFC, ran one of the most brutal pitch processes in years and has immediately made the work much worse?

I guess it depends on the company you'll be working for, but I made the move about a month ago and have never been happier. I'm still getting used to people leaving on time and talking about raises and bonuses without the laughter at the end of the sentence that I would hear on the agency side.
Love it on the corporate side. Would never go back to agency life!!
Godspeed
Me too! High five!
In the past, I would’ve said bad move. Today, staying with agencies is the bad move.
You will never look back - or regret it.
Started a client side role as after being on the agency side. It's political but the work life balance is great.
@BBDO1 lmaoooooooooo @ you. Get out of here with your regressive point of view. The best creative will come from companies with strong in-house teams and production capabilities in less than 5 years. Save this.

Good luck!
Which place/industry?
Godspeed. Im sure your kids' college fund will thank you, but still, yuck (no offense)
@SS1 Tech
@Ogilvy1 I felt the same but for the past few years it feels like the tide is changing, now more rapidly than ever
Yeah that for for the creative work. Making the move to client side is absolutely the smart financial move, and Id probably do it if I had the opportunity--it just has a slight (SLIGHT, and less and less all the time) feeling of resignation, a sort of bittersweet goodbye to ad agencies being fun places to work. Youre right that its not how the young folks are feelin these days. But who knows what the next five year thought-leader cycle will bring right?
For sure, goes without saying that it could vary widely depending on the company. At a startup its basically doing their website. For Viacom it could be sitting on the beach at Cannes setting up South American partnerships.
Please do and good luck!
@BBDO1 alright, I came on a little harsh... Was laughing at the “yuk” part. 🤷🏻♂️
And it really depends on the in-house role. For me it needed to be a global player that’s dynamic and takes risks. By the popularity of this post I guess a lot of us are who’ve been around awhile are open to looking.
