Deloitte or Pwc? Assuming you can get the same position in consulting for both companies, where would you go? Have been interviewing with both and most likely will get the offers this week. Deloitte has a reputation of being more rough and wlb is bad, pwc seems to have a better culture but it is not as big. Thoughts?
Got two job offers. One at a company recently PTOed and I'll be doing similar things I do now, at a more senior level. The other a small startup (<10 people) where I'll work directly with the C suite cross functionally. Base comps offered are the same. The former gives signing bonus and RSUs. The latter offers stock options. Similar benefits. Personally I am more excited for the mission and possibilities of the latter but obviously the former is more stable and career ladder clearer. Thoughts?
For those who haven’t seen this yet...Yes it’s a real thing that the UK gov’t is promoting. And yes - there are t-shirts for sale! Boris Johnson makes one hell of an ad-man clearly! 😆
Nyc or Seattle for mid 20s female? What's the dating scene for wlw? Moving from sf post-covid
Hypothetically speaking, if your boss asked you if you were interviewing do you think it would be best to lie or to be honest? This is also a toxic work environment
Got a great industry offer! The thing is, it’s coming less than 2 months after I switched consulting firms. What do I say when resigning? I’ve been wanting to leave consulting for months now, but I don’t know what to say when resigning so soon after starting a new job!
Blame the brief.
Blame the CD.
Blame the client.
Blame the agency.
Blame the industry.
Just never, ever, ever blame yourself or your work. It’s perfect.
Consulting occupational hazard: I'm so used to expensing ubers that I've been taking cars everywhere now... Spent about $500 on ubers last month 🤦♀️.
