I am doing a rotation in the valuation group and planning to switch firms afterwards. Anyone here did this and have any tips? I know transferring from audit to valuation is usually a bit harder, but would appreciate any tips. I have a bit of valuation experience from my PE clients. I am also planning to sit for CFA level II this summer and have taken some modeling/valuation courses.

I joined a bank as a business analyst 2 months back. I’m feeling that it’s more of a stagnant task for me though learning is there still i was much more happy with development. Now idk what to do because it’s 2 months, most companies i cannot apply before 6 months or a year maybe!

What shall i do? How to cope up with it? It’s difficult. YoE- 2 yrs and 4 months.

Tech stack : Python, SQL, Azure, ML and analytics.

I recently received an offer from a big 4 company. I am very happy with where I am currently working. I’m unsure if I should take it. I feel valued at my firm and I am not micromanaged. There are many benefits to staying however, it’s a big 4.. feels like a sin to turn it down.

The main reason I feel inclined to take it is for the name and the exposure. Can I have some thoughts on what you would do in this situation?

My husband and I have been married a year but together for 5. He’s gained weight since we’ve been engaged and it is started to bother me because our lifestyles are starting to conflict. I enjoy active hobbies and going to the gym but getting him to join me to do something active it’s a struggle. We also have conflicts over food choices grocery shopping and eating out.
