The Job requirement says its Entry Level, but the experience it requires is always 6 year+... like how would a fresher match that.. should I've started coding at 6th grade or what?

Hi, has anyone had this before: been a month sense interview, my online status never changed so I sent a follow up email to the supervisor, within an hour instead of getting a response my online status changed from consideration to pending decision. Is that bad? The hiring manager never responded to me just updated online status, is that a NO? I am so confused and never seen an online status get updated right after a follow up email.

The interviewers at other firms who work on TMT deals do not like my financial service audit background cuz they think I don’t deal with PPE, inventory and revenue recognition. 😓 They prefer ppl who have core assurance background. Is it really a disadvantage for me coming from financial services audit when I make the transition to FDD? Any input will be appreciated!!!
