Did you end up spending the full amount your program said you’d spend for books? (Working on my budget 😬)

I have joined lti as a lateral.
After joining they have asked me to collect laptop from office. When i went, the laptop was not in a great condition and was refurbished. I am guessing it was used almost 3 to 4 years before me.

I asked them for a new laptop and they said they dont have new laptop in stock, i even checked with my manager she said she is also using refurbished laptop so no problem.

Anyone else faced this problem earlier?. If yes how did you act on it?

Why do women partners with no kids give women a harder time about scheduling more than any male partner gives regardless of having kids or not?? There’s one partner in my practice who is giving me a hard time for having a non-negotiable 1 hour of time on 1 day for my family. Yes you read that right 1 HOUR 1 day a week. I said I can flex any other time but that 1 hour. Like wtf!!!
