No! I started in journalism before making a slow transition to corporate marketing.
I started out as a film editor and made a transition into marketing. Never too late!
I studied economics and Chinese studies but have worked in marketing for 13 years. You can switch over if you want, or stay your path. I’d suggest doing a few internships in marketing, it will really help you if you decide not to get that degree, plus you learn more in the office than you do from the book, at least at the graduate level

It's not too late! I didn't realize that I was really into marketing around the same time. If it isn't too late, adjust your schedule to the business and marketing classes you need to take. Since you'll have to take some intro courses (probably at least for the major) I would try to get those done as soon as possible so you can look for work opportunities.
It’s never too late. I didn’t get my degree in advertising until I was in my early 30s. I got my first marketing role a few months later. I think anything is possible, we just gotta work hard to get it.
