Hi everyone, I'm comparing two offers from Accenture and Cognizant. Could you help me figure out some of these questions: 1. At 5 YOE, what kind of package can I expect? Current offers: Accenture (12LPA fixed, 2.5L variable), Cognizant (14.3LPA fixed, 45K variable) 2. Nature of work - What kind of work can I expect from these companies? 3. would I get the opp to use any authoring Tools? 4. Work life balance - which is better? 5. Increments - avg % hike? 6. Culture - which is better?
Deloitte GPS Business Analyst vs Mercer Health Consulting Analyst?
Deloitte's offer is 7K more and in a cheaper area. Equal interest in both jobs, slight preference for Mercer for people + culture. Leaning towards Mercer because I graduate in Dec and can start in Jan vs having to wait until next summer for Deloitte + location (although higher COL)
Concerns:
Exit opportunities
Pigeonhole-ing myself into health consulting / How hard would it be to join Big 4 in a year or two if I don't like it

The only thing you need to read/know about this Tech CEO "my world is falling apart" tantrum is this:
"moving to areas of the country where they can hire talented people for way less money — people who will have more loyalty to the business and accountability to the CEO, if only because they’ll have fewer options to jump ship.”
The CEO wants loyalty and lesser mobility for the workforce so that the hardworking people continue to remain under the thumb of some narcisstic fool who'd stick to their chair well past their retirement age filling up their coffers, while the rest continue to struggle to meet their professional and life goals. Yeah, keep trying Cramer and the gang.

Tech leaders:
Are tech companies making profit? If yes, this is about wanting to compensate employees less in order to make more profit.
This era of record breaking profits is made on the backs of consumers and employees.
A lot of tech companies aren’t profitable though… not just small startups, but the likes of Uber, Docusign, and Square have never made money. 70-80% of these expenses are employee compensation, many of whom make >$200k.
