Difference between being employed as consultant vs full time at FAANG?

You are currently posting as works at

1. Better pay 2. Visibility into the impact of your work 3. Brand value 4. Relatively relaxed deadlines(better WLB) 5. More focus on the actual work rather than writing emails using unnecessary complicated words, or creating slides with this font, that font size, in this alignment 6. Less opportunity for diverse work in FAANG

Much better wlb and better pay. As a consultant, you aren't necessarily restricted to the same nuances as a full time employee, and your work is weighted differently

Consulting is very valuable for some years, especially for something like product management (not sure what your realm is) and then you want to end up in FAANG.
