Are there any fundamental differences between a salary negotiation during the start (applying for the job) vs. Salary negotiation during a performance review (you’ve been employed for x time and looking for a raise). I’m in the latter and wondering if there are any maneuvers that are different I should be doing.

I’m a SE, and been doing it professionally for around 3 years, no college education or anything, im only 21 and I accepted an offer at a company on november 2021, the offer was for a salary of 116,000 plus a 10-15% yearly bonus. Obviously i have all the other benefits like insurance, after browsing fishbowl I found so many other people doing the same job but getting paid in some cases double than me. so, I am being under paid? or maybe are these especial cases of people making a lot?

I have been at my job for over a year and a half, I started as a cashier and worked my way up to warranty administrator. When I moved to warranty I trained the new cashiers, I found out I was making around $4 an hour less then my replacement (I had been asking for a raise for 7 months). I later received a raise but was matched with what the new cashier was making, I am now making $19/hr and am almost fully in charge of all warranty operations for the building. Do you think this is a fair pay?

I am being offered 26lpa which includes 15% variable component plus employer contribution to PF. So, the fixed component is just 21. How much more can I negotiate for? Have existing offer of 23l (all fixed)
