Hi Fishes, Pls help,
YOE: 13 yrs
Cctc: 13 lpa
Have cleared HCL interview. Initially they offered 23 lpa (via proposed offer letter), but i requested to reconsider it for 25 lpa.
After 5 days, they sent final offer letter of 19 lpa (stating they can offer max 50% as per L4 approval).
Queries:
1. Is this normal or rare case, reducing the offer amount from what quoted initially?
2. Should I accept or negotiate?
I don't have any other offer as of now.

Hi!! I’ve spent the last four months trying to land a job as a healthcare analyst/consultant and I’ve not been successful thus far. I’m a published author of two manuscripts at ACS, have experience in both clinical and basic science research, have worked in the field as a EMT and have many other experiences that will allow me excel. I’ve applied to @LEK ZS Associates Mercer and many more companies. Id so appreciate anyones help in this process. Thank you in advance!!

Your brain should have told you that.
Columbia has a business school?
SC1 not sure what kind of profound wisdom your statement is attempting to convey, but brain told me I was a target applicant and heart told me I'd be able to live in the same city as my partner.
I was told I would get into CBS, and also didn’t get an interview when I first applied. Reapplied for j-term and got in. If you are interested in and MBA, staying in the city, and not looking to switch careers, that might be a good option for you.
I got dinged after my interviewer said she would strongly recommend me for an admit. Don’t lose heart OP. I am going to Stern this fall. Hope you get into a great school
Sounds like you’ve got good options- good luck!
OP, I'm currently a first-year at Fuqua if you ever need someone to talk with
Thanks P1 - good luck at Stern, it'll be a fantastic experience! C1, I am 100% sure I want to matriculate by Fall 2018 so it'll probably be Fuqua or Kellogg for me at this point. Not complaining about those options at all, but I just wasn't expecting an all out rejection form CBS.
