Discovered (once more) my boyfriend deleting/changing names of a co-worker that we had already fought about because they were crossing the line with how they communicated and how often. I somehow felt this was coming.. but can’t ignore the fact that it makes me really sad.

It’s week 5 for me of the breakup and even though I had a full and fun weekend with friends and people I love, I woke up today so so sad because I wanted to text my ex. I just feel overall so defeated and exhausted from sadness and unmotivated at work :(

I've been working remotely for the past two years, and it's been great. I love working from home and being able to watch my kids grow up through their eyes as they play around me. But sometimes, when you're in this kind of situation, it's hard to know what to talk about with your coworkers.

Where can I find new friends? I feel like my priorities are so different from them now. They are still in a hyper competitive rat race mindset. Recruiter said the numbers are locked. I couldn’t reach the HM. Running out of time I accepted. I contacted the HM again saying yay! I accepted. I Have been ghosted for 5 days. Recruiter said background check should come via email soon. Haven’t seen anything. Weirdest experience ever. Why wouldn’t the HM reply?
