Looking to pivot from biotech to big tech in a less technical role (bizops, analytics, implementations) . I have a degree from Stanford in Biology (c/o 2021) and experience leading technical client implantations, but feel like recruiters just see my degree and throw out my application. Am I overthinking? And what certifications have you seen help boost a person’s resume?
More comprehensive APM list (I'm not the author). Note, a lot of APM programs run on university hiring cycles and are location bound to offices other than HQ, so do click into individual ones and read up...

I found a startup of my dream that I really want to work for. However, they aren’t hiring in my location. How should I approach the cover letter to basically suggest carving a role for myself? I can’t currently relocate at all.
I interviewed for a full-time role (remote) but it was later revealed it would require relocation. I am not wanting to do that and they said I could come on as a contractor. The vendor I would go through provides benefits (medical, dental, PTO). What would be a realistic hourly rate to request/negotiate? I want to get as high as possible but also don’t want to settle for less than what I have to. For context, I am at 165k right now and the role would have been a pay cut to 135k (full-time).

I’m a bariatric coordinator and an RN. I graduate with my MSN in executive leadership in December. I’ve always wanted to go into leadership. My CNO turned my current job into a “leadership” position. I feel like all of this was done in attempts to get me to “be quiet”. I feel so overlooked, and under appreciated. I’ve been a nurse for 8 years, and worked 7.5 years in high risk ICU. Where I was a charge nurse and a nursing house supervisor as well. Does anyone have any advice? I feel so deflated

I've been receiving a couple of calls from different recruiters regarding job opportunities. But, after they get a confirmation of my interest in that role, they don't update me with the application process.
What should I do? They don't even respond to my follow-up emails.
I work in marketing within a small team. Just myself, my manager and a part time designer that I personally manage. My manager doesn’t seem to do much work. He never tells me what he’s working on, provides no instructions, guidance or feedback, and in our weekly standup he will just list out the tasks I am personally working on. It’s a lot on my plate as I handle socials, email marketing and copyrighting, yet he gets a lot of my credit but he’s not doing anything? This is my 1st job.

How do you deal with a boss (male) who is extremely erratic and not very professional? We had an in office day the other day that I arranged as without it our team would never get together- and during that time he dumped 5+ crazy ideas on me that were marked “priority” that didn’t make ay money or sense for the company, then cut off my presentation on the last slide to go get lunch.
I have voiced before that I’m not entirely comfortable with the project I am on but he doesn’t back down.

For example, a drug could be first-in-class and as a result doesn’t have to be promoted as much as another drug which has some competition. I was offered a Part Time Physician Case Manager Position (Remote) in Malaysia on 4th November 2022. I was interviewed by your Medical Director (Dr. Christine Louis) via Microsoft teams platform. The whole onboarding process was handled by a senior HR admin from Shanghai.
Subsequently, I was required to sign a contract and provide financial details and ID for onboarding purposes. I have then given Microsoft office sign-in credentials.
Would like to verify the facts and personnel above. TQ!

Accepted what I thought was my dream role. It's unorganized, training is subpar and its very frustrating. Its a few months in and I'm over it. I have a side biz but due to my new role i have to put that in the back burner (at least until i learn to do this job efficiently). I really wanna quit and go to work for myself but I know that this is not possible at the moment. Has anyone else Accepted role that they thought was a good fit bit now are questioning their decision a few months in?
