I am a few months in and don’t love consulting - thought (naively) that I would somehow be able to incorporate health equity in my work here but it seems not to be the case, and I don’t think I’m a good personality fit for the role in general. I’m a 6th year associate at an AmLaw 50 firm. I received an offer to go in house at a hedge fund thats been around for a few years. Pay is identical to a 6th year associate in Big Law. Bonus is guaranteed for 2022. Culture seems legit and I believe work life balance is achievable. Is it worth making the jump to go from Big Law to a hedge fund that is in a growth stage? Thoughts and opinions would be greatly appreciated.
