How did you get into your area of law? I have been licensed for 5 years and I still don't know where I ultimately want to be. I started as a line attorney and after 3 years, I moved to a non-litigation position working for the state. I feel lost. I have thought about getting MBA to compliment my JD. I was a good litigator but I had trouble turning off my brain and being present with my family when I was a litigator, so I don't think I would want to go back.

I work for a unicorn startup in alternative investments. The majority of my experience has been in marketing and developing brands and go to market strategies that resonate with tech buyers across retail banking, payments, corporate banking and investment banking for both large Fortune 100 companies and for startups. I do have a keen ability for distilling complexity into simple, human messaging. Looking to network and discover new startups and make a switch. Happy to return the favor.

My current role is about a 80/20 split between strategy and planning vs traditional account management. I’m looking to make a move brand side. What sorts of roles would be a natural fit in your opinions, and why?

Looking to move on from current role however bonus/pay review period in 6 months (base jump likely to be around 10%). Is it better to wait to get the bump then negotiate off that for next role or start looking for roles now and accept if can find a jump of 15-20%? (understand that it might be possible to negotiate sign on to compensate for missed bonus). Any generic rule of thumb / insights that have helped ppl? Leaning towards staying until bonus/pay review period at present. Thanks.

Ive accepted an offer going from a SM role to M role at EY in the CCas team , London office. Can anyone confirm how often one needs to come into the office, as my commute is from Hampshire . In my current role I rarely go to the office, i.e once every few months (also in London) and am considering backing out due to the additional commuting cost and less flexible work life balance.

I have faced technical round interview for Infosys yesterday. As I have observed most companies don't send the mail whether if you have been selected or not, Do Infosys send the mail. If no, then in how many days we will get to know about next round or hr round?
