Hey Everyone! I was let go of a tech startup. Mostly doing BD, 65k just moved up to an Account Manager role at 75K +5k (Quarterly Bonus)≈90k/year.

The new company I work for Imports Sustainable Restaurant Products. And I focus on long term sales cycles. Nothing too sexy about it tbh. What are your thoughts on this move and I’m looking to grow my career to make 200k in a couple years any advise from anyone? Is this possible with this experience should I look somewhere else? I have given my interview in HCL and cleared 1 TP, 1 hcl manager & Client TP and Client Manager rounds .
In initial screening HR told the generic statement of 30-40% and I have given my ask as 50% minimum. After clearing the rounds I heard from the project team that Client has given great feedback and wanted to take me in .
What is the % I can ask in HR Discussion and will they reject in HR if I ask more now .
I have 9.5 years total experience and role is Storage Architect.

Anyone else do their BCG final round today? How did it go?

Ive just failed the final round at McK risk. An experienced hire & only had 3 weeks to prep. Feedback - everything was great apart from the quant part and that I should re-apply. Made minor calc errors in two interviews (formulas / logic was correct and answers were within 1-5% from correct ones). Wonder if I can reapply for McK generalist/implementation sooner than in a year? Also if anyone at BB would be interested to refer me, please let me know ☺️ FS /IB/ risk consulting / strat - 5 YOE.

What is fastest way to improve both structured communication and thinking? Any helpful books or drills?
It’s the one consistent feedback I get while casing , “to be more structured” I’m there for math ability , business logic , creativity.

Did an exchange program gap year after college and landed in Deloitte GPS this fall, but thinking about trying to get into MBB because I don't want to do public sector long-term. When would be a good time to apply? Should I wait til I have 1 full year at Deloitte, or does it not matter that I only have a few months under my belt? Went to a target school and should be able to get a referral.
