Do any companies here use Kazoo for recognition? Would love to know your experience as well as how many people are in your company.

I worked for a company previously that used it and it had about 400 people and growing. Such a cool way to keep people engaged and motivated! I even suggested using it at my next employer!

like

YES! We use it and LOVE it. It really is awesome.

We used it for our org and it was really successful! We had to downsize and go into lean mode when COVID happened so we stopped using it but it was a great value add for our culture,

We currently use it in our company. We have around 5k employees across four divisions and have a separate instance of Kazoo for each division. I’ve been involved primarily on the tech setup side, but have found the vendor supportive & good to work with

I haven't heard of it and am googling it, sounds VERY interesting

We do and we love it. It’s expensive AF but it’s an awesome tool that encourages kudos.

The mid-size tech company I work for is looking to develop an education assistance program (i.e. tuition, certifications, learning modules, books). We developed a survey to collect this information. Would anyone be able to share general information about their company’s education/tuition/professional development program? I’d be happy to share the survey link.

A colleague and I were tasked with rolling out an ongoing training. I’ve done 90+% of the work and am annoyed she’s receiving credit by the broader team. I’ve spoken to her about distribution of work, but she does none of what she’s assigned to (she’s acknowledged handling the tasks and has the bandwidth) and acts like it’s a new ask the 2nd/3rd time I follow up. I make it clear to my boss what I’m working on, but doesn’t address the imbalance. How can I better manage this situation?

First time poster here!

After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"

I'm testing SPHR in June. Any advice for securing the type of role I'm aiming for?

Hey HR Folks!
I work in recruiting at a tech start-up in SF. We typically don't share our latest valuation with candidates unless it's a very senior position, but I am seeing more mid-level candidates ask for it lately. My question to you all...
1. Do you share your valuation with candidates?
2. If yes or no, please share why.
Thank you!

I’m looking for a mentor in the tech / start up industry at the moment. I’ve been in HR for around 2-3 years and currently working in fintech for 8 months. I love the tech industry and I love how fast paced everything is. I started my career working alongside a manager that wasn’t always present and now working in HR alone. I’ve never really known if what I’m doing is right,I’d really appreciate being able to lean on and be mentored by someone who is a HR leader in the same kind of environment.

Now I got married and moved to UK , plus we have got a baby in 2019 so now I am looking for a job in UK having 3 years of career break. Although, I am getting CIPD lvl 7 diploma this year. I am not ready for team leader's role now . So my question is about HR area, where could I find a job with my only Russian experience? HR generalist, C&B analyst, HR BP, recruiter?
