Wouldn’t be big 4 if they did

People on the receiving end didn't know how to take it.

No. Too many partners getting their itty bitty feelins hurt 😢

We did, for a while, but it wasn't effective, or something.

I have heard we don't have because of PCAOB. PCAOB might want to take a look at that and form certain opinions based on feedbacks and that's what partners do not want to deal with.

I’m in tax and we can review our managers at the end of an engagement. Who knows what happens to the reviews though.

PwC has employee satisfaction surveys. thats it

Any experienced senior managers that have moved between Big 4 firms? Can you speak towards your experience, any struggles, and opportunities in terms of partner promotion? Frankly, EY path to partner seems to be too clouded (long pipeline, no clear direction/path, uncertainty on promotion cycles, etc.) at the moment and I would like to visit all options. Appreciate the input.

Is it true that except behavioural and harrasment ground; TCS will not fire anyone? Due to bad performance; unallocation, "stay in bench for more than a month" cause any job threat in TCS just like other organization?

Engaging in dumb hypotheticals but I'm curious: At 1 YOE post-MBA, would you pick Amazon or MBB if the estimated TC is the same, and you've been working in consulting since your MBA? Obviously this depends on the role, but for the sake of a broader audience, we'll assume the role simply isn't a backwater contracting/etc. role at Amazon and that for MBB it's core consulting. New/pivoting into HR! 👋 Currently working as a TA Coord with a little entry level work in HR Ops prior to this. Is there a SHRM link, reliable test, or method of shadowing the various parts of HR that will provide a sample of the work, thinking, and day to day experience of each group? I didn’t go to school for HR and therefore haven’t had the opportunity to sample HR Ops. vs. TA vs. Comp vs. Benefits vs. Payroll, etc. I know work experience is the best barometer, but what can supplement this?

Hi everyone, I want to do a sense check on my paycheck and taxes. I am a staff 2 in tech consulting at EY in Chicago with 1.5 YOE. Current base salary is $91.2k and with RACs etc I am right around $95k. I contribute $250/month to my 401k which EY matches. My total comp according to the Better Me dashboard is ~$105k However, my take home each month after taxes is ~$2.4k. The ADP app tells me that 32.5% goes to taxes and my gross pay is 67.5%. This just doesn’t seem right…anyone help explain?
