What is the industry standard salary expectation range for a mid/senior Project Manager role at global tech company?
The role will be remote in the USA, requiring 6+ years of experience and responsible for owning initiatives for an entire department.

Any tips for helping to get operations work recognized? I’m officially in ops but cover programs, business, and catch-all organizational needs. In the last year we rebranded and scaled 500% (staff, program offerings, funding) and I was the sole employee covering organizational ops at 100% during that time. When I proposed a title and compensation review, I was told I didn’t achieve enough impact. Unfortunately skills in project management and operations are not weighed heavily in comp reviews.

I received an offer (28 Lakhs + 3.9 Lakhs incentive) from Novartis for Sr Project Manager yesterday. This was just 13.6% more than my current earnings as Project Manager. I've given the reasons why I deserve at least 30% to HR. In response to that, HR has sent 2nd offer i.e. 29 Lakhs + 4 Lakhs incentive + 50k sign-on bonus. The 2nd offer is just 18.2% higher than my current earnings. Need your suggestion, if I could still negotiate with HR to finalize deal by asking for 25% hike?

I find in times of COVID I am not as effective in the hard conversations with clients (usually when they need to take a deal that they perceive as bad or change their course or conduct). Any resources on how to develop the skills for being effective in these hard conversations?

Is anyone here familiar with RSUs and stock options as part of divorce? My arbitrator was not and she asked us to hire an expert to get a valuation. What are examples of “non-billable” tasks that attorneys are completing? Backstory: I’ve seen firm softwares advertise their products saying, “You can’t bill for these tasks so you should have our software do it.” The task would be something like drafting a financial statement that is filed with the court. I would think that is billable.

Let's talk unhinged pro se opposing parties. We have one that emails the entire firm every few days with these SCREEDS that are like weird stream of consciousness accusations of baseless criminal and unethical conduct. So far there have been 2 emails already today. A GAL has been appointed and ordered to do a psych eval on this party, but is there any sense in responding in the mean time?
