How is dbs project for bigdata?
Hi Fishbowlers 👋🏼 I have 6 years experience in client facing roles within the music/ entertainment industry and 3 years w SaaS. Currently applying and interviewing for Creator Success Mgmt roles but I'm looking to get my foot in the door with sports (DraftKings, FanDuel , ESPN , NFL + MLB networks)
Any leads in sales would be greatly appreciated!

Good time to learn this lesson - almost everybody throws account under the bus.
Learn it early and learn it well
Sometimes it seems like our PMs are running behind the bus that creative and account are both on. They'd have to catch-up to throw anyone under it.
We've got a couple good ones that are usually in the driver's seat.
As to your specific question, first make sure you're not hanging out under the bus and the PM's not just pointing it out. If they're truly throwing you under it, have a conversation with them about how it undermines trust across the entire team.
👆this. Maybe I’ve just been really lucky, but all the PM’s I’ve worked with were pretty straight up and just called people out (myself included) when they were messing something up for the project. They also usually have decent suggestions on how to fix them. Ask for their thoughts on how to fix it maybe
It's true AS1. Account is a pretty thankless job. However, there are many methods of throwing people under the bus. One of my personal favorites is the Wednesday creative kick-off followed by the Monday morning client presentation. "Look, we've got five whole days to deliver! Ohhhh. Wait a minute."
Once our account team realized that creatives who have most of their nights and weekends to themselves are much nicer people, and do better work, we've been getting along great and actually like one another.
And we take turns throwing the PMs under the bus.
@SAD1 That’s great! I love to hear that. I have almost always had great relationships with my internal teams and it makes everything better
